CG movie Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary Portuguese version of the website has also been released.
Directed by Keiichi Sato (Tiger & Bunny) and produced by Toei Animation, Legend of Sanctuary is scheduled to premiere in Japan in the summer of 2014. The film's release has also been confirmed in Brazil and other Latin American countries, where negotiations with distributors are currently underway.
Synopsis:
“In a remote mythological era, there were the defenders of Athena. When the forces of evil threatened the world, these warriors of hope always appeared. Currently, after a long period of war, a young woman (Saori Kido), worried because of the mysterious powers she possessed, was unexpectedly attacked and saved by the Bronze Knight Seiya. Since then, Saori, who had begun to understand her destiny, along with Seiya and his fellow Bronze Knights, decided to go to the Sanctuary. However, there, in addition to facing the traps of the Sanctuary's Master, they will have a deadly battle with the most powerful of the Knights, the proud Gold Knights.”
