Henry Thurlow is a professional animator who has worked on the production of some episodes of One Piece together with Toei Animation. However, he has now taken on a bigger role as director of episode 1066 of the anime. Therefore, he released this news on his Twitter and emphasizes that he is taking on a great responsibility for being the first American to direct an episode of One Piece.
“I, Henry Thurlow, am the director of episode 1066 of One Piece airing this month.

Synopsis:
The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who gained a body made of rubber after eating the magical fruit Gomu Gomu no Mi (the Rubber Fruit). He was inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Shanks the Red, to become a pirate and sail on a journey across the sea to find the mythical treasure, the One Piece, and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
