The official Twitter for the anime One Piece announced on Wednesday that it will return with its 1,014th episode on April 17th.
This episode will be the first new episode of the anime in six weeks, and the first since the last hacker attack suffered by Toei Animation , a month that also affected other productions.
The anime has been airing rerun episodes since the hacker attack, and will show another recap episode next Sunday.
In addition, other projects that were affected by the attack have a confirmed date to resume broadcasting:
- Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai will continue with its 73rd episode starting April 16th. A rerun of the 72nd episode will also air this Saturday.
- Delicious Party Precure will continue with its sixth episode starting April 17th. A rerun of the fifth episode will also air this Sunday.
- Digimon Ghost Game will continue with its 22nd episode starting April 17th. A rerun of the 13th episode will also air this Sunday.
Toei Animation announced that on March 6th, an unauthorized third party gained access to the company's network, resulting in the shutdown of some of its systems.
