Toei Animation has confirmed that the anime One Piece will officially enter the Elbaf Saga in April 2026. This will occur shortly after the conclusion of the Egghead arc , scheduled for December 2025. The new phase promises an unprecedented approach in the adaptation of Eiichiro Oda 's manga . One anime episode will be adapted for each chapter of the manga —something never before done in the series.

According to the studio, the anime will undergo a strategic hiatus between January and March 2026.This period, called the "recharge period," is aimed at reinforcing visual and narrative quality. The goal is to deliver denser and more cinematic episodes, totaling up to 26 episodes per year. Therefore, Toei also revealed the first visual teaser for Elbaf and the new costumes of the Straw Hat crew. This display highlights the beginning of the long-awaited journey to the land of giants.
