Some news has finally arrived regarding the live-action adaptation of the manga and anime One Piece, announced here in July . This time, the producer responsible for the adaptation, Marty Adelstein (Prison Break, Teen Wolf), in an interview, reassured fans of the work about the weight of the responsibility of the adaptation.
Adelstein's comment on One Piece:
I've been a One Piece fan for 20 years. I'm so honored that Shueisha and Oda-san have entrusted me with such a beloved iconic property...
I will do everything in my power to make the 'One Piece' TV series an absolute success. I expect this to be one of the most expensive shows ever made on television; the worldwide interest is tremendous, and it will be worth the financial commitment.
Thus, being the great work authored by Eiichiro Oda , in Brazil the manga was released in a first version by Conrad, but it ended up being canceled in volume 70, which corresponded to the original 35.
Finally, the title had its publication restarted by Panini in February 2012, which restarted the series from volume 1 and also from the point where Conrad had left off.
