One Piece – Live-action has started filming

The long-awaited live-action of the anime One Piece has confirmed filming will begin this year. According to Production Weekly , the series will begin filming on August 31st in Cape Town, South Africa. Filming is initially expected to last six months, with production wrapping on February 8th.

One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda will also produce the series and oversee filming alongside producers Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements .

Ultimately, production should last around six months. We'll be keeping an eye out for more news and bring you firsthand information.
