The highly anticipated live-action of the anime One Piece has confirmed filming will begin this year. According to Production Weekly, filming will start on August 31st in Cape Town, South Africa. The initial estimate is that filming will last six months, with production concluding on February 8th.
Eiichiro Oda , creator of the One Piece manga , will also produce the series and supervise filming alongside producers Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements .
