The official website for the anime Oshiete Hokusai! released a clip showing part of the opening sequence this Thursday. The video reveals that the anime's opening theme song will be called "Tenkorin no Tema". Voice actors Azumi Waki (Tenkorin) and Katsuyuki Konishi (Raijin) will sing the song's chorus; it's worth noting that the rock band CHAI wrote the song specifically for the anime. The video also reveals the anime's premiere date, which is scheduled for March 7th.
Synopsis
The story follows the life of Tenkorin Okakura, a lazy high school girl. While dreaming of a kind of painting god, she makes a wish that her dreams could come true without practice or effort. The god Raijin hears her wish, summons real-life historical artists, and tells Tenkorin to have these artists teach her so that she can fulfill her dreams.
The manga adaptation of Oshiete Hokusai! launched on the website “Cakes” in August 2016.
