Fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel to the Persona 4 anime for some time now, and for fans of the saga, that wait is finally over.
As announced on a local TV program, the series has been renewed for a new season, titled Persona 4 The Golden .
The team and cast Atlus games , including voice actors such as Daisuke Namikawa ( from Persona 4 Yū Narukami ) and Tomokazu Seki (Kanji Tatsumi ), announced during the “ Dark Hour TV ~ Persona Hour ~” live program that a new TV series would be adapted from Persona 4 The Golden ( Persona 4 Gold) for the PS Vita .
According to the team , the new anime will retell the events of the first series , but will include a new character named Marie . Persona 4 The Golden : The Animation will premiere in July; a trailer for the new saga can be seen below.
