The official website for Puchimas! – Petit Idolm@ster- has released the first promotional video for the second season of the series. This new season will feature original stories not found in the manga. It premieres on April 1st in Japan. Niconico and Bandai Channel will stream the anime.
The first two-minute shorts, which premiered in January, adapt Akane 's four-panel series , depicting the daily lives of 765Pro idols from The IDOLM@STER- and the mysterious creatures called "Puchidoru" that somewhat resemble the idols.
Manky (Tono to Issho, Sengen Kakko-Kawaii!, 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku) directed the anime at studio Gathering, Sao Tamado (30-sai no Hoken Taiiku) designed the characters.
