Directly from the “ Nintendo Direct” held this Friday, February 26th, Nintendo confirmed the rumors that had surfaced online the previous day about the new Pokémon game. The announcement of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon , the two new games in the franchise for the Nintendo 3DS handheld , was finally made official .
The announcement lasted 5 minutes and was delivered by Ishihara, president of the current The Pokémon Company, where videos showcasing Pokémon's 20 years were shown. Following this, the presentation displayed the logos for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Sun, along with small assets from the game in development.
Both games will be released at the end of 2016 and will support 9 languages.
