This year, Pokémon is, however, The Pokémon Company in Japan released 6 new commercials for Pokémon: The Origin . The commercials are around 30 seconds long and show the characters Red, Green, Professor Ōkido, Takeshi, and Sakaki. Each ad explains that the special was "made for people who played the RED & GRENN versions (blue in North America).

This new animated series will star Red and Green , the two main characters from the first games in the Game Boy series. The animated series is called Pokémon: The Origin .
