Tengen Uzui's past confirmed in the Demon Slayer anime

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba concluded its second season of the anime , where the Entertainment District Arc introduced us to a very different character: Tengen Uzui .

Uzui is one of the main supporting characters of the season and one of the protagonists of the arc that began on 12/05, being the current Hashira do Som . So let's check out his character's past in more depth according to the book Kimetsu no Yaiba Fanbook 2 .

Tengen Uzui's past confirmed in the Demon Slayer anime

In the book it is said that the character Tengen Uzui had 8 brothers , however three of them died due to his father's excessive training. The other five, along with him, were asked to fight to the death against each other while masked.

In this way, Tangen only realized what his father had planned after killing two of his brothers without knowing it was them . Tengen's last brother also killed two other of his brothers and in the end only two of the 9 children .

Therefore, his brother had no remorse and remained in the clan, while Tengen Uzui decided to leave his clan permanently.

The character ended up leaving on his journey, leaving behind the future that awaited him as a ninja in the clan. After this moment, Kagaya Ubuyashiki ends up recruiting to become a member of the Demon Slayer Corps , mainly due to the level of strength he developed from training in his past.

Finally, Uzui ended up actively accepting the proposal to be a demon hunter .
