The analysis considered only terms directly related to PS5-compatible titles, measuring the estimated number of times each game's name was searched. The results allow us to identify trends in interest among Brazilian gamers, impacted by releases, updates, and promotional activities.
Minecraft is ahead and Hogwarts Legacy is on the rise
In first place is Minecraft, with 1.4 million searches. This number was boosted by the launch of the native PS5 version, which attracted new and existing players. Furthermore, the franchise's live-action film, currently in development, increased the game's visibility on social media and in the media.
Second place went to Hogwarts Legacy, which racked up 89,000 searches in March. The RPG's addition to the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe plans expanded the title's reach, reinforcing its appeal among fans of the Harry Potter universe. The move also encouraged new players to check out the game.
Astro Bot, named Game of the Year 2024, has garnered 48,000 searches. The PS5 Pro update, featuring new levels and special bots, has rekindled public interest. This recognition demonstrates the game's popularity among platform and immersive experience enthusiasts.
With 46,000 searches, Grand Theft Auto V remains relevant, even more than a decade after its original release. The enhanced PS5 version, with graphical and technical improvements, continues to attract players and fuel comparisons with the previous PS4 edition.
Emerging titles complete the ranking
Monster Hunter Wilds has registered 36,000 searches and continues to attract attention with new listings. Even so, the title has received specific criticism regarding the resolution in specific sections of the game, which may drop to 720p on the PS5, according to the specialized portal Adrenaline.
Another highlight was Split Fiction, with 33,000 searches. The game attracted attention for its noir style and interactive narrative, garnering positive reviews on geek culture websites. Its unique approach cemented its place among the new releases conquering specific niches.
Rounding out the rankings, Gran Turismo 7 received 29,000 searches. The only PS5 exclusive on the list, the simulator remains relevant with frequent updates and technical precision. New features announced at the end of 2024 strengthened its position among the platform's top titles.

The growth in demand for games also reflects the interest in accessories that enhance the gaming experience. Items like gaming chairs, once restricted to streamers, are now common among gamers who value comfort and performance.
