The multimedia project Re:bel Robotica , created by illustrator Mika Pikazo , will receive an anime adaptation . The announcement was made by Amuse Creative Studio , which also confirmed that new information will be released during Anime Expo 2026 , scheduled to take place in July in the United States.

Science fiction set in a futuristic Tokyo
The story takes place in the year 2050, in a futuristic version of Tokyo where technological advancements have transformed society. In this setting, Robotica, machines created in the image of human beings, perform functions focused on people's well-being.

The plot follows Lily, a mysterious girl who appears in Shibuya and ends up causing changes capable of shaking the world. However, according to the production team, the Re:bel Robotica anime will present an original story set in the universe already established by the multimedia project.
Origin of Mika Pikazo's project
Re:bel Robotica began as an independent work distributed by Mika Pikazo during Comiket 2017. In 2019, the publisher ARCH began collaborating on the development of the franchise, which subsequently received novels written by Ryo Yoshigami (Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector), and Gakuto Mikumo (Dantalian no Shoka, The Hollow Regalia, Sword of Stallion).
Finally, Mika Pikazo is known for her work as a character designer for Fire Emblem Engage, as well as for the artwork of VTubers such as Kaguya Luna and Hakoz Baelz. Furthermore, the artist has also participated in popular projects like Fate/Grand Order and World Dai Star.
