The game hit Resident Evil Requiem has received a free update that adds the post-game mode “Leon Must Die Forever”. The new feature arrived this Friday (8) and brings a more intense experience for those who have already completed the main campaign.

The new mode completely changes the pace of the matches. The scenarios remain the same, but the enemies appear stronger, bosses receive improvements, and five new difficulty levels are added to the rotation. Furthermore, each match has a time limit and random elements to increase the challenge.

Another highlight is the "enhancement gauge" system, which fills up by defeating enemies. This feature unlocks special abilities for Leon during the race. However, the available upgrades vary with each attempt, as does the order of the stages, creating different runs every time.

The main campaign of Resident Evil Requiemfollows follow Grace Ashcroft a style more focused on horror and survival, while Leon delivers faster-paced combat, quite reminiscent of the structure of Resident Evil 4.

The game has sold over 6 million copies
