This year, Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Magazine announced that the light novel Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records (Akashic Records of bastard magic instructor) will be adapted into an anime.
In the “action and fantasy” story, Guren is a teacher at the magic school who sleeps during school. One of his students, Sistina, gets angry and challenges him to a duel and he is easily defeated. However, when a horrific incident threatens the school, Guren shows intense dedication to protecting her students.
Kurone Mishima worked on the light novel's illustrations. Fujimi Shobo published the fifth volume on November 20th in Japan.
