This year, Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Magazine announced that the light novel Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records (Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor) will be adapted into an anime.
In this "action and fantasy" story, Guren is a magic school teacher who sleeps on the job. One of his students, Sistina, gets angry and challenges him to a duel, which he easily defeats. However, when a terrible incident threatens the school, Guren shows intense dedication to protecting his students.
Kurone Mishima is working on the illustrations for the light novel. Fujimi Shobo published the fifth volume on November 20th in Japan.
