The official website for the Rurouni Kenshin has released a new teaser for the second film. The video features footage of actor Tatsuya Fujiwara as Makoto Shishio. In 2013, two sequels were confirmed, meaning a trilogy.
The two new films will cover the Kyoto arc from Nobuhiro Watsuki's original historical action manga.
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Kyoto Inferno) will arrive in Japanese theaters on August 1st, and Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (The Legend Ends) is scheduled to arrive on September 13th. Principal photography for both films wrapped on December 27th, after six months of filming.
