For those eagerly awaiting the sequel to the first Samurai X , some stills from the second film, titled "Rurouni Kenshin - The Kyoto Fire," have just been released.
The film adaptation of the manga and anime Samurai X was a box office success in Japan and other markets – grossing a hefty $70 million. This success motivated the studio to greenlight two more films, thus continuing the trilogy concept: Rurouni Kenshin – The Kyoto Fire and Rurouni Kenshin – The Legend's Conclusion .
The premiere is scheduled for Japanese cinemas in 2014.
