Japanese TV has begun airing a new advertisement for the anime Sabagebu!,an adaptation of the manga by Hidekichi Matsumoto. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July.
The manga revolves around Momoka Sonokawa, a transfer student to an all-girls school. Momoka ends up joining the "sabagebu" group, a club that holds survival games.
Matsumoto began the manga in 2011 in the magazine, and Kodansha released the 5th volume of the work in September.
Another manga by Matsumoto, Honto ni Atta! Reibai-Sensei, was adapted into an anime in 2011.
