Still in the spirit of Sailor Moon's 20th anniversary celebrations, we were presented with the news that Sailor Moon Crystal returns in the spring 2016 season, which begins at the end of March and beginning of April.
Sailor Moon Crystal ran from July 2014 to July 2015 and had 26 episodes released biweekly.
Sailor Moon Crystal will no longer be directed by Munehisa Sakai, but by Chiaki Kon, who directed works such as Junjou Romantica and Golden Time, and Akira Takahashi replaces Yukie Sako as character designer.
