The manga Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi (My Senpai Is Annoying) officially came to an end with the release of its 13th and final volume in Japan on February 3, 2025. As a gift to fans, the tankobon contains 128 pages, with 60 dedicated to extra stories exploring the daily lives of Igarashi and Takeda, the wedding of Touko Sakurai and Souta Kazama, and the conclusion of the romance between Yuuto Sakurai and Natsumi Kurobe.

Created by Shiromanta, the manga was published between 2017 and 2024 on the Twitter and Pixiv platforms. Simultaneously, the publisher Ichijinsha released the colored version through the online magazine Comic POOL. The first printed volume debuted on March 28, 2018. For international readers, Seven Seas Entertainment provides the English version. The final chapter, number 236, was released on July 26, 2024.

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai became a hit with the anime:

The success of Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai also extended to the anime, which received a 12-episode adaptation by studio Doga Kobo, broadcast in the fall 2021 season. Ryota Ito directed and also worked on the storyboard, while Yoshimi Narita and Yuka Yamada wrote the script.

Therefore, the plot follows Futaba Igarashi, a short young office worker who has amusing conflicts with her giant coworker, Harumi Takeda. Despite her tsundere personality and constant complaints, it is thanks to Takeda's support that she grows professionally. However, their relationship evolves from a professional partnership into something more meaningful throughout the story. The anime is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
