Synopsis of Sentenced to Be a Hero
Heroism — a punishment reserved only for the worst criminals. Those condemned to the fate of a hero are forced to fight on the front lines against the demon king's army – and if they die, all they can hope for is to be revived and continue the battle. But when their leader, condemned for killing a goddess, meets another goddess, the contract they forge may be enough to change the world…
Therefore, the publisher Kakuyomu debuted the Sentenced to Be a Hero novel in October 2020, and ASCII Media Works began publishing the light novel under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei in September 2021. Finally, a manga adaptation debuted in the web magazine Dengeki Comic Regulus in March 2022.
