The highly anticipated third season of Shangri-La Frontier received a new teaser video this Tuesday, bringing more details about the return of the popular anime based on Katarina 's web novel . However, the premiere is confirmed for January 2027 on Japanese television.

Furthermore, the main cast returns to reprise their characters after the events of previous seasons. Studio C2C remains responsible for the animation, retaining much of the creative team that worked on previous adaptations of the franchise.
Team keeps production of Shangri-La Frontier
In the production of the 3rd season of Shangri-La Frontier, Toshiyuki Kubooka returns as chief director, while Hiro Oki takes over the direction of the new season. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu remains responsible for the scripts, with character design by Ayumi Kurashima. The soundtrack continues under the command of the MONACA, reinforcing the series' identity.
The first season premiered in 2023, followed by the second in 2024. Meanwhile, the franchise is also preparing to launch its first official game in 2026.
