Shingeki no Kyojin – Director breaks silence on final episode

We know that the end of Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan ) is getting closer. The series has already finished its manga , and soon the anime too. Therefore, all fans are watching its conclusion. Attack on Titan promises a banging ending, but after the release of the poster on Saturday (20), considered quite “simple” by fans, anime director Yuichiro Hayashi went public to clarify.

“As for the main look, I think this will be the final look for the final season,” he shared. “It may come as a surprise to you that it's going in exactly the opposite direction of the characters that have been introduced so far, but I've decided to go a simple route... I think there's something that appeals to the imagination [when] there's nothing. There are some things that are interesting but not sophisticated to explain, and it will be a spoiler, so I hope you can expand your imagination and look forward to the final part [of the anime].

As you can imagine, Hayashi and his team are still deeply working on Shingeki no Kyojin. MAPPA has confirmed that the anime will have its big finale this fall (2023), but that's all we know for now.

Does the director's speech about the final episode of Shingeki no Kyojin make sense?

The latest seasons of the Attack on Titan NHK channel in December 2020, and aired a total of 16 episodes. Part 2 premiered with episode 76 on the NHK General on January 9 and aired a total of 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation it aired in Japan.

Synopsis

Humans encountered Titans in Shiganshina District after years of peace. Eren, Mikasa and Armin witness the appearance of the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan, who open a breach in Wall Maria. The Titans invade the city and wreak havoc, including the death of Eren's mother, who is devoured before his eyes. He then decides to take revenge on all the Titans by joining the Exploration Division.

Finally, Hajime Isayama launched the manga in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine , from publisher Kodansha in 2009, and finished the serialization in April 2021. Finally, the 34th and final volume of the manga arrived in June 2021.
