The highly anticipated second season of the anime The Duke of Death and His Maid (Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid) has received a new trailer featuring never-before-seen scenes, released on the series' official website.
The premiere is confirmed for 2023 and promises to further explore the peculiar romance between the cursed protagonist and his devoted maid.
Synopsis
In the story, a young duke has been cursed by a witch: everything he touches dies instantly. Because of this, his family has isolated him in an old mansion. Currently, his only company is the old butler and Alice, his childhood friend and maid—always provocative, daring, but sincerely in love.
Despite the physical barrier imposed by the curse, the relationship between the two continues to flourish. After all, Alice's affection is genuine, which makes each interaction fraught with romantic tension. In fact, the search for a way to break the spell is the central point of this new season.
The manga, published by Shogakukan and completed with 15 volumes, is released in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. The first season aired in July 2021.
