It was announced on the official anime Shirobako that the anime will premiere on October 9th on Tokyo MX at 11:30 PM. It was also revealed that Shirobako will receive a manga adaptation, which will launch on September 27th in the November issue of Monthly Dengeki Daioh.
Yoko Ishida will perform the opening theme, “Colorful Box,” and Juri Kimura, Haruka Yoshimura, and Haruka Chisuga will perform the ending theme, “Animetic Love Letter.”
The anime titled Shirobakorevolves around the daily lives of five girls who work in the anime industry, showing the challenges and conflicts each of them faces. The anime is produced by PA Works, directed by Tsutomu Mizushima, with character designs by Ponkan8, and supervised by Michiko Yokote.
