The official website for PA Works has released its first trailer. Titled Shirobako, the trailer was presented at this year's Comiket event. The series will premiere in Japan in October.
Yoko Ishida will perform the opening theme, “Colorful Box,” and Juri Kimura, Haruka Yoshimura, and Haruka Chisuga will perform the ending theme, “Animetic Love Letter.” Tsutomu Mizushima (xxxHOLiC, Girls und Panzer, Joshiraku) will direct the series at PA Works. The company Ponkan8 (Tasogare Otome×Amnesia) is designing the original characters, which Kanami Sekiguchi adapted for the anime series. Michiko Yokote is supervising the series, and Tsutomu Mizushima is in charge of sound.
The anime adaptation of the manga titled Shirobako ~ Ueyama Koko Dōkōkai by Mizutama will premiere in the November issue of Kadokawa's monthly Dengeki Daioh magazine on September 27th. GLASSLIP is currently streaming in Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs, and Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series for the North American version.
