Kadokawa confirmed on Wednesday the anime adaptation of Soara and the House of Monsters (Soara to Mamono no Ie), a manga created by Hidenori Yamaji. In addition to the planned premiere in 2027, the company released a new teaser, promotional visual, main cast, and the first details of the production team.

Ikumi Hasegawa voices the character Soara. According to the website, the character is a young woman trained since childhood to fight monsters in battle. Ayumu Murase plays Kirik, a skilled dwarf builder known for leading the so-called Monster Architects.
Between monsters and new homes
The story follows Soara, an orphan raised by knights to fight creatures that threatened her kingdom. However, when peace finally arrives, she loses her purpose. Her life changes when she meets Kirik, who invites her to help build houses specifically for the monsters she once fought.

The team brings together experienced names
The anime will be produced by FelixFilm. Takaharu Ozaki is directing the series, while Ayumu Hisao is supervising the scripts. Character design is by Tomoko Iwasa, and the soundtrack will be composed by Hinako Tsubakiyama. The manga began its publication in Sunday Webry in November 2021 and currently has seven volumes in Japan.
