The manga Liar Liar , an adaptation of the light novel written by Haruki Kuō, is officially nearing its conclusion. According to the August issue of Kadokawa 's Monthly Comic Alive magazine , the work illustrated by Funa Yukina will end in the next chapter, scheduled for publication on July 27, 2026.

Synopsis

The story follows Hiroto Shinohara, a transfer student who quickly defeats the undefeated champion Sarasa Saionji and achieves the coveted Seven Star status. However, there's a crucial detail: his entire rise is based on a big lie. The work blends strategy, school rivalry, and psychological games in a constant struggle for prestige.

The franchise began as a light novel in April 2019 under MF Bunko J, with illustrations by konomi. Publication ended in November 2023 with the 15th volume. Additionally, the series received an anime adaptation that premiered in July 2023, with international streaming on Crunchyroll, including an English dub.
