A special event was held at the Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo to celebrate the conclusion of the anime spinoff Sokyu no Fafner Behind the Line.
The anime's production team revealed the anime's second promotional video, featuring the theme song "Start again" by the duo angela, during the event.
The anime will begin its special theatrical release in Japan starting January 20th.
Synopsis
Tatsumiyajima is the central island of a small archipelago in an isolated location in Japan. Not much happens there; the island's young people go to school knowing their lives should remain peaceful and trouble-free… At least, that's what they've been taught, but the truth is different. The future of humanity is in danger, and Tatsumiyajima is the last line of defense against a mysterious enemy. To fight for the continuation of human existence, a giant robot called Fafner protects humanity's last treasure.
