This Friday (04), Studio Khara, responsible for Evangelion, announced its new anime adaptation of the manga Sugar Sugar Rune.

Therefore, the anime is directed by Yusuke Matsui with animation by Studio Khara (Evangelion).
Sugar Sugar Rune is a Japanese magical girl manga series written and illustrated by Moyoco Anno . It was serialized in the shōjo manga magazine Nakayoshi between September 2003 and May 2007.
However, the manga was compiled into a total of eight volumes, published by Kodansha during the same period. The work received an anime adaptation produced by Studio Pierrot, between July 2, 2005 and June 24, 2006.
