The anime Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari (Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You) has revealed its second main promotional video, featuring new scenes from the adaptation based on manga . The material highlights the central characters and presents previously unreleased excerpts from the series' opening, which premieres on Japanese television in July 2026.

New video highlights the relationship between Sasaki and Tayama

The preview begins with the song “Ichijiku Kemuri,” a new song by the band Zutto Mayonaka de Ii no ni., the opening theme of the TV version. The video follows the daily life of salaryman Sasaki, voiced by Takuya Sato, and his moments of relaxation alongside Yamada and Tayama, both voiced by Kana Hoshiki.

Furthermore, the production showcases interactions that help develop the dynamic between the protagonists. One of the highlights is Tayama to an unexpected comment from Sasaki, reinforcing the more intimate tone of the work.

Release date and streaming platforms confirmed

The new video also introduces characters surrounding the main duo, including Goto, Ono, Maezawa, Obata and Suzuki. With this, the anime broadens its perspective on the adult environment that characterizes the story.

The premiere will take place on July 9, 2026 on TBS and its affiliates, with a planned 12 episodes. Digital distribution will begin on July 10 through ABEMA and Netflix, while other platforms will receive the series starting July 16.
