The official website for Taiso Samurai, the new anime from studio MAPPA, has revealed the names of new cast members, a promotional video, and a new visual.

The story of Taiso Samurai takes place in the year 2002 and centers on the once-powerful Japanese gymnastics team. Shotaro Aragaki, a former member of the Japanese team who dedicated his life to gymnastics, is no longer able to live up to expectations. Despite still training hard day after day, he is advised to retire by his coach Amakusa. But a certain encounter alters Aragaki's destiny.
