The anime Tank Chair received a new promotional video this Wednesday revealing the main cast of the adaptation of Manabu Yashiro. The production premieres in the fall 2026 season and features intense action mixed with elements of crime fiction and suspense.

The cast includes well-known names
The protagonist Nagi Taira will be voiced by Kōki Uchiyama, known for roles in My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen. His sister Shizuka Taira will be voiced by Minori Fujidera. However, the video also confirmed Gakuto Kajiwara as Naozumi Kurosaka and Saori Hayami as Touko Kurosaka.

In addition to the characters, Bandai Namco Filmworks officially revealed the design of the "Tank Chair Mark-1," the combat chair used by Nagi during missions.
The production focuses on action and science fiction
The anime is being produced by Polygon Pictures, responsible for works such as Ajin and Knights of Sidonia. Tadahiro Yoshihira and Hiroaki Ando will direct, while Masaru Yokoyama, composer of Mashle: Magic and Muscles.
The story follows Shizuka, an assassin who uses her own brother in combat. After protecting his sister from a gunshot, Nagi fell into a coma and became dependent on a wheelchair. However, Shizuka discovers that he awakens whenever he senses murderous intent around him.
