The anime Tenbin (Tenkousaki no Seiso Karen na Bishoujo ga) received its main trailer during the AnimeJapan 2026 event. The video featured the opening theme song “Natsu ni Kasanete,” performed by the group Dialogue+. The series is confirmed to premiere on Japanese TV in July.

The production adapts light novel with illustrations by Siso. The story follows Hayato Kirishima, who transfers to a new school and reunites with Haruki Nikaidō, his childhood friend whom he believed to be a boy years ago.
Chuan Feng Xu is directing, with Deko Akao supervising the scripts. Character design is by N-Nei Kurahashi, based on the original artwork. The soundtrack features Ryosuke Nakanishi, Naoki Tani, and Yuri Morita, and is produced by Pony Canyon.
Tenbin is a romantic comedy light novel written by Yu Hibari, initially published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2020. Kadokawa later began its print publication in 2021, reaching its ninth volume in 2024.
Furthermore, the work received a manga illustrated by Oyama, released in Comic Walker. Finally, the seventh compiled volume was published in July 2025, expanding the franchise's reach among readers.
