The anime Tetsuryō! meet with Tetsudō Musume (Railway Girls) has released its first trailer and confirmed a premiere for the fall of 2026. The production is based on the Railway Girls franchise, known for depicting female railway workers in different regions of Japan.

The main cast includes May Tachibana as Misaki Sata, Mao Shōji as Kodama Orihara, Haruna Fukushima as Ushio Yagami, and Hika Tsukishiro as Usa Harutachi. Each character brings a unique perspective to the world of railroading.

The animation is being handled by East Fishdirecting Misuzu Hoshino. Aya Satsuki is responsible for the script, while Hisanori Hashimoto is in charge of character design.
Synopsis
The story follows four female students passionate about trains who are part of the Tetsudō Ryokō Dōkō-kai club, also known as "Tetsuruyo". During their journey, they travel through various regions and meet professionals from the Tetsudō Musume initiative scattered throughout Japan.
The Tetsudō Musume franchise was launched in 2005 by TOMYTEC and features over 100 characters inspired by real female employees. In 2025, the project celebrated 20 years of history, solidifying its presence in the railway and entertainment sectors.
