On a popular Japanese comment forum, the ranking of physical package pre-orders on Amazon Japan for anime released this season was shared. The surprise comes from one of the season's surprise hits, Oshi no Ko, which is dominating the list, ahead of the popular anime Demon Slayer.

We can see that both Oshi no Ko and Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-hen are very close in the top two positions of the reservation ranking. The case of Kimetsu no Yaiba is not surprising, considering that the previous chapters of the franchise were a complete sales success one after the other. The surprise, however, lies with Oshi no Ko, a completely new series, but one that has already captivated audiences with only two episodes aired.
It's quite obvious that the listed positions will change in the coming months, but this initial result is already an important indicator of popularity, sales potential, and who will dominate this season.
