Kodansha has announced that manga series Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan's Hajime Isayama will end on April 9th of this year. According to Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, the series ran for 11 and a half years and will release its final volume on June 6th.

Therefore, Isayama confirmed once and for all that he would finish the manga as promised. He emphasized that the manga's length was not extended by the editors, but rather the question "when will this end?" frequently arose during the final push. He hopes that fans will continue to enjoy the manga until the end, and promised to do his best until the very end.
Kodansha also joked that many projects are being prepared for the manga's conclusion, and also highlighted that the work has over 100 million copies in circulation worldwide.
