In a Redditshortly before his participation in Sakura-Con, TurtleMe thanked everyone for their support over the years and reminisced about the work's journey, which began as a novel and later became a webcomic. He highlighted his involvement in every stage of these versions—something that unfortunately wasn't repeated in the anime. "I learned that, in the anime industry, it's rare for the author to have an active voice in the creative process," he commented.
The author acknowledged that the animated project went through many stages before coming to fruition. However, despite criticism directed at those involved, such as Tapas, Crunchyroll , and Studio A-CAT, everyone contributed their visions to what the anime could be. "Creative differences are inevitable, but I believe everyone gave their best," he stated.

Regarding requests to remake the anime, TurtleMe was direct: “Just like with a story, a pet, or a child, we don't want it to disappear in the face of difficulties—we face them and move on.”
Despite criticism regarding the animation quality and comparisons to Solo Leveling, TurtleMe asked for respect and patience. "I'm human, and not all decisions turn out perfect. But I deeply respect your support."
