Any final message for the fans who have been with you from the beginning?
Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) allowed me to connect with an unimaginable number of people through the reviews and messages of support I received. I would never have been able to experience this if I had led a normal life, and it was a true joy to share these precious moments with the readers. Right now, what I'm dying to do before thinking about my next project is take a midday stroll through a not-so-quiet neighborhood with a cup of sake in hand. For me, that's exactly what freedom is all about.
Isayama has been away from print publications for several months, since the release of his last chapter in 2021.
Some fans may have already noticed, but for those who haven't, Isayama never mentioned that his next "project" was a new manga.
