After meeting Sylvia, Arthur began to rethink his emotions and vowed not to let anger guide his path. He also understood that he should use his power to protect, not to harm. Thus, in the episode titled " Saved by the King ," the boy Leywin shows that he is truly evolving, both in magic and in his altruism.
The Beginning After the End shows a new side of Arthur
At the beginning of the episode, after saying goodbye to Sylvia, Arthur hears a scream in the forest. Following the voice, he finds Tessia, a little elf girl who has been captured by slave traders. The episode focuses on Arthur's journey to Tessia's house, so there aren't many action scenes besides the moment when Leywin confronts the slave traders. During their time together, the boy and the elf develop a bond of friendship.
Tessia is the first child Arthur comes into contact with, and since he was born with the awareness of his past life as King Grey, the girl's childish attitudes and feelings are behaviors he doesn't understand.
