The second season of the anime The Detective is Already Dead ( Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru ) has finally been confirmed, the information came via the official Twitter account responsible for the adaptation.
Along with the announcement, a promotional image and video were released.
Synopsis of The Detective
The story follows the life of Kimihiko Kimitsuka, a young man who four years ago became the assistant of a mysterious detective known as "Siesta" during a plane hijacking. Together, Kimihiko and Siesta embarked on mind-blowing adventures and explored the world while battling a secret organization, but it all ended when Siesta died. Going through sinister times, an unlikely being appears in his life.
New information regarding the new voice actors and technical team should be revealed later. Finally, the first season of The Detective is Already Dead premiered on July 4, 2021.
