The second season of The Elusive Samurai (Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi) has received a new promotional video that revealed its official opening, new staff members, and premiere date. The anime, based on the manga by Yusei Matsui, will begin airing in Japan on July 13, 2026 on Fuji TV.

In addition, the trailer features the opening theme song “Onigoto,” performed by Kento Nakajima. The production also confirmed the return of the main voice actors, including Asaki Yuikawa as Hojo Tokiyuki and Yuichi Nakamura as Suwa Yorishige.

The CloverWorks studio remains responsible for the animation of the series. Yuta Yamazaki returns as director, while Yasushi Nishiya once again takes on character design and the role of chief animation director. The soundtrack continues to be composed by Akiyuki Tateyama, with script supervision by Yoriko Tomita.

The first season premiered in July 2024 and returned to Japanese programming in a special rerun before the arrival of new episodes. The second season of The Elusive Samurai will also be distributed by Prime Video in Japan.
