Production and crew of the anime
The team also includes Keiichi Tsuboyama on character design. He worked as animation director on the film Fireworks. The project adapts the work published by Earth Star Novel, with illustrations by Kinta and over two million copies in circulation.

Furthermore, the story originally appeared on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform in 2018. The manga version, illustrated by Yumbo, has already reached 14 published volumes, expanding the franchise's reach.
The plot focuses on fantasy and territorial development
The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects is a more laid-back fantasy. The plot follows Dias, a warrior who returns after years of war and receives an empty territory as a reward. With no experience outside the battlefield, he must learn to build a new life.
In this setting, Alna emerges, a girl with horns who presents new possibilities for that forgotten territory. The narrative combines land management with relationships between characters, creating a gradual development of the surrounding world.
