This Wednesday (December 29th), we had the release of the final chapter of the webtoon Korean Solo Leveling. According to information, the illustrator Jang-Sung-Rak commented on the ending of the work.
Therefore, the webtoon is an adaptation of novel 's original Chugong and the adaptation was handled by Jang-Sung-Rak.
Jang-Sung-Rak posted the following message on the Kakao Page website, where the webtoon had been published:
Hello to all our readers. I am Jang Sungrak. Thank you for loving our series, despite its flaws. By accepting Solo Leveling as a new challenge, I was able to learn many things. I am very happy for the love we have received throughout this time. I would like to thank all the artists who helped me, Park Mogoon, who helped me in the first season, and Lee Mogoon, who helped me do the work of two people temporarily for a month or two.
Both of them did a lot because they wanted this series to turn out well. I would like to take this moment to say that without their passion and help, I wouldn't have been able to make such a good series. I would like to thank them for that. Especially Lee Mogoon, who was a more important colleague than anyone else, the most important colleague. He stayed with me and worked on the series while coloring the chapters until the end. I would like to express my special thanks to you. (The names of all the people who helped me on the series, but did not give me permission to reveal their names, will be kept hidden.) I would also like to thank the author who wrote the original manuscript and everyone who works at Redice Studio and its partner company, D&C Webtoon Biz.
Finally, Chugong has been publishing the novel digitally since July 2016, and since then it has been published by different publishers.
