Yū Higashi, a high school student, aspires to be an idol. However, to achieve her dream, she sets four rules: she will not be active on social media, she will not have a boyfriend, she will not stand out at school, and she will befriend pretty girls from the north, south, east, and west.

Thus, the Trapezium novel debuted in Kadokawa Media Factory's Da Vinci magazine from 2016 to 2018. Finally, Kadokawa published the novel in November 2018.
