It was announced on the official website of Nisio Isin or NisiOisin, author of Monogatari, that another of his novels would be getting an anime adaptation.
He wrote 9 volumes of the Zaregoto between 2002 and 2005 and 7 volumes of the Ningen between 2004 and 2010, both published by Kodansha. He describes the story as:
"It's the vacation of a lifetime, a trip to a remote island filled with geniuses and murder.".
