About the character Yamato: Yamato is the son of Kaidou of the Beasts, a former Yonkou after being defeated by Monkey D. Luffy. Born as Kaidou's daughter, his deep admiration for the legendary Wano Country samurai, Kozuki Oden, led Yamato to embody everything about him, personifying him and adopting his mannerisms. As a result of this desire to become Oden, Yamato decided to become a man and began identifying as Kaidou's son.
Synopsis:
The anime revolves around the pirate Monkey D. Luffy, a young man made of rubber, who, inspired by his childhood idol, the powerful pirate Red-Haired Shanks, sets out on a journey across the East Blue Sea to find the mythical treasure and proclaim himself the Pirate King.
