I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

This Thursday (13), the official Twitter account responsible for the special “The Quintessential Quintuplets∽” released a new image for it. The image, in turn, is intended to celebrate the start of the special’s pre-premiere in Japanese cinemas.

The voice actresses Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Itō, Ayane Sakura, and Inori Minase sing the opening theme song “Gotōbun no Mirai” and the ending theme song “Takaramono.” A CD containing the songs will be released on July 12th, and will also include songs from the games “Gotōbun no Hanayome : Goto Pazu Story” and “Gotōbun no Hanayome : Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku.”.

Tickets to the movie theater will include a transparent card with the anime poster for a limited time.

The special will therefore adapt stories that have not yet appeared in previous animations of the franchise.

Negi Haruba launched the original manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in August 2017 and concluded the series in February 2020.

Thus, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. Finally, the second season of the anime aired from January 2021 to March 2021.
